The Riverview Village Intentional Community Society (RVICS) is committed to protecting the privacy of its visitors. RVICS does not share or sell the names and mailing addresses of our supporters with other organizations.
Take Action
If you choose to “Take Action” or make a donation, we will send you updates on this and other important campaigns by email. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from our email list, you may do so by following the unsubscribe link contained on each email. In certain cases, we may enable you to send individual e-mails to the legislators, and other targets as well as Letters-to-the-Editor to various news publications, through our website. These messages are sent in your name, with your e-mail address as the return address and your full name and contact information is provided as part of the submission. These messages will only be sent out under your name as you approve them on an individual basis using our email tool. You are solely responsible for the specific message(s) you send using our email tool. Name and address information provided by you and transmitted through us to third party recipients through letters, action alerts, petitions, etc. will be shared only with the intended recipient.
Donations
If you choose to donate to our society, standard credit card information (name, card type, card number, expiration date, etc.) is collected and a record kept of your financial transaction. This allows us to process, fulfill, and acknowledge your order or donation. Secure server software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Your credit card details will not be saved on our web server.
Data Use
Information appearing on the Riverview Village Intentional Community Society website is copyrighted material of the Riverview Village Intentional Community Society unless otherwise noted. Individuals who wish to make use of our content should request permission by emailing and specifically describing how the content will be used to info@riverviewvillage.ca. Reasonable requests will be honored. Site managers may link to our homepages without requesting permission as long as our page appears as an independent source (i.e., not in frames). Questions or comments regarding our privacy policy or our use of data can be directed to us at info@riverviewvillage.ca. By using the Riverview Village Intentional Community Society website, you consent to the collection and use of the information described above. Any changes to this policy will be posted. Subject to change without notice.
